Tired of going to the same old places for brunch? Up your daytime dining game by exploring these unique spots around Singapore to satisfy that lazy day craving.

Free The Robot

Sharing the same space as cocktail destination Bitters and Love, Free The Robot is a quirky little space in Telok Ayer that serves western-style brunch and coffee. Located in the heart of the CBD, its exterior is covered with a white wooden wall that is decked out with doodles of robots by a Berlin artist, Pablo Lentile. You’ll find whacky combinations on the menu like Kopi Cola ($7), coffee with botanically brewed cola, The Blue Swimmer Crab Pasta ($20) and Dirty Matcha Honey Affogato ($8).

Riders Café

Looking for a place to escape the hustle and bustle of Singapore? Riders Café is the spot for you. Serving up contemporary comfort food in a chic black and white inspired colonial house, the remote location will make you feel like you’ve stepped into another country. Though it may be a little tricky getting to this café, it is definitely worth the travel as it is located in an almost untouched area of Bukit Timah right next to the horse stables. Highlights of the menu includes Brioche French Toast ($17), Fried Chicken & Corn Cake ($23) and the Death By Chocolate Cake ($13).

This aesthetically pleasing café is also littered (in the best way possible) with different breeds of houseplants and accented with woody furniture that provides a warm feeling of comfort. The Glass House prides itself with sourcing top quality ingredients for their Sourdough Toasts with toppings of your choice ($5-7) and specialty coffees that uses a rotation of various roasters.
