5 Minutes With… Tatyana

What does a typical day look like for you?

No day looks the same,  which keeps things exciting and dynamic. My day usually begins with reading the news and checking what is happening in the industry that our clients are in, checking in on ongoing press releases and campaign progress to ensure everything is on track. From there, I might dive into working on crafting pitches and developing creative strategies for our clients.

I usually spend some time strategising with clients and coordinating with media partners to align our efforts. Afternoons are often packed with meetings, brainstorming sessions, and planning for upcoming events or new PR initiatives, or going for events/tastings.  I like to wrap up my day by setting my to-do list for the next day, so I ensure I’m always managing my time efficiently.

Which aspects of your role do you enjoy the most?

I thrive on the dynamic nature of my job. Whether it's crafting a compelling story, securing media coverage, or working on exciting lifestyle events, I love the challenge of making each project unique. The creative process and the opportunity to see our efforts come to life are incredibly rewarding. I also enjoy meeting new people and being a part of Singapore’s vibrant cultural scene, as well as discovering new spots as they open up around the city.

If you could do another job for just one day, what would it be?

I do love the media industry, so I’d still think I’d do something related to the industry. For a day, I’d love to step into the role of a talk show host and call it “Chit-Chat with Tat.” I’d enjoy engaging with a variety of guests, diving into interesting conversations, and exploring different perspectives. It would be a fantastic way to connect with people and share compelling stories.

What do you enjoy doing when you’re not at work?

Outside of work, I enjoy exploring new restaurants and attending cultural events with my friends or family. I also write songs, and often spend my weekends jotting down ideas for lyrics or personal projects. Additionally, I dedicate a significant amount of time to strength training—something that’s really useful given the amount of events and restaurant tastings we manage. I also love to travel and discover new places whenever I get the chance. It’s a great way to unwind and stay inspired.

Do you have any “hidden talents”?

I’d say being good with accents is a bit of a hidden talent of mine. I pick up on languages very quickly and it adds a fun twist to conversations!
